  Shawn Ray is my favorite bodybuilder of all time.  Many would agree that he should have won at least one, if not more Olympias.  I remember actually believing that I could get as big as him by eating peanut-butter, honey, and bananna sandwiches like he used to say in Flex  ;D  He is what bodybuilding was, and should still be about:  Size, symmetry, and conditioning.  Who is your favorite bodybuilder?  Please include a decent photo.  You can only pick one  8)

shawn could make an easy 100k if he went back into the gym for the FL show.

i'd take phils 5'9" physique over shawn's 5'5" physique any day.  remember phil can still dunk a basketball and shawn needs a chair to reach the top of the refig.  like him or not, phil aint that bad and is still put together better than jay and kai, except for the width

now, shaw is still my favorite playboy bber.

Don't get me wrong, Phil is one of the best pros of today, that isn't saying much.   He seems like a good guy but in that pic posted above it looks like he went to the sporting goods dept., and put an air pump to his delts' chest and arms.  Michelin tires should sponser him!

people need to wake the fuck up and realize that bodybuilding should not be about who can blow up the biggest.  You need to keep some fucking lines at the same time!

I have quite a few fav's ( really depends on the era ). If I had a gun to my head, I'd have to go with a well conditioned Zack Khan. Thick, dense muscle. NO weaknesses. I've always been a fan of the mass monsters.

Onstage by himself Shawn looked unbeatable. Put him in a lineup and he seemd to fade away. Just too short and narrow for many of the other Pro's of his era.

people get too caught up on how "big" someone is.  Sure paul dillet' or nasser would dwarf sean ray on stage, that doesn't mean they are more complete, or are better bodybuilders.

Shawn was one of the most well coditioned Pro's of all time, and I'm also a fan. But, being at several of his shows and seeing him compete, he just didn't have the size or heigth to win to Mr O againt the best of his era. The was one year where Shawn was going to do a few other shows than the O, he still didn't dominate.
