I once went to some spiritism meeting, where you could place things like jewelry and pictures on a table. A medium selected a few items and made contact with the dead people they belonged to.
I put down a self-portret of my grandfather, the medium knew his first name, although there were no names or even initials on the drawing. It felt weird, but I can't figure out how this could have been a hoax..

I walked past a spiritualist church one day, and saw they had open readings right when I was standing outside so I went in to see what it was all about.

The first thing the lady who saw me said was "Your father has been waiting here for about 30 minutes already". He'd died the year before.

She got everything else completely wrong, but that kind of freaked me out.
