No, not at all, actually most people at the gym train really hard and in the gym where i train i would say 80-90% are competing, and of them i would say 95% are on the juice. They just have a problem with admitting it.

I have visited Japan and yes, many signs are in English and with Hirigana you can do a lot but to be honest I am always in awe of people who have mastered what many consider the most difficult writing system in the world. It is a great, great accomplishment!
