half life determines the rate at which a drug is metabolised.
the longer the ester attached to a hormone, the longer it takes the body to break those esters down.
the drug is only active once the ester has been removed.
not all of the drug is active at once, only those molecules which have had the ester removed.
for a long ester like enanthate, the active hormone profile for a 250mg shot would look like this = day one 30mg, day two 27 mg, day three 25 mg, day four 23 mg, day five 20mg, day 6 17 mg, day 7 15 mg, day 8 13 mg, day 9 11mg, day 10 10mg... and so on
