Nasser was very impressive and consistent until 1998 or so. Ruhl in 2002 was insane though.

Actually, no...look at the way he holds his pose. When you put your knuckles together like that, it gives the illusion of width, by pushing the elbows out further than the shoulders, and at the same time pushes the shoulder girdle out. He is the only one that does thar pose like thar---because if he did the clasping wrist one, the illusion is gone...

No one else does that pose like that, and you'd be hard pressed to find a Ruhl pic where he does a clasping wrist (like Levrone, Dillett, Phil Heath, Nasser, CC, Dorian, Ronnie, SR---there are pics of them doing the clasping wrist pose)

i think the first time they competed together was in 1999 and although nasser was not anything close to his best he beat ruhl in many shows in 1999 and 2000.. ruhl only beat him at mr. olympia 2002 which was one of nasser's worst shows ever..

conclusion:

- ruhl could beat nasser only when nasser was at his very worst condition..
- ruhl could not beat nasser in 1999/2000 although nasser was about 60% only of his best..
- they never competed in nasser's best days but seriously if they did it was not going to be even close!!.. i don't think ruhl could place in the top six at any olympia in the 90s!!..

levrone was a rookie in 92 and wheeler was a rokkie in 93!!..

i agree ruhl didnt take what he deserved at more than one occasion but still his physiques naturally lacked what it takes to be one of the very top!!..

i didnt say ruhl did have what it takes to be mr. olympia,.. i said he didnt have what it takes to be one of the best and there is a very big difference.. on the other hand even if you see nasser didnt deserve to win any olympia still you cant argue he was one of the very best in his best days!!..

and regarding placings, markus was robbed more than every other BB ever
1999 NOC was his show
2000 NCO he was better than cutler
2004 he was 2nd to ronnie at the olympia
2006 he was the legit winner of the austrian pro beating cutler and coleman

if makus is at more than 90 percent of his best, only coleman can really beat him, cutler NEVER NEVER NEVER


so if he would have been given al his well earnde wins, nobody would doubt that he was the better bb than nasser

nasser on his own was neverer robbed, 1997 dorian severly crushed him in all back poses

Markus was underrated in the judges eyes. He also had bad luck with the injuries later on in his carrier. I was so happy to see him win the NOC and two years later place fifth at the Olympia. He was owning people at the challenge round.

Nasser was the man 1995-1998. Four years in a row at the top-3 at the Olympia. It was sad to see him fade away.

You've just proven that your completely biased so your opinion holds no weight at all. If you clearly didnt hate Nasser and thought of this as a physique contest and not a persona contest, you would have a valid opinion but you do not.
