What's worse would be if in the late 70's out manufacturing base was larger versus now.   :o

I Think Because at least we had it fall on.  Now, with outsourcing, factory closures, and the high cost of doing business, products and services have shrunk.

Because our government for the last 30 years in many ways has encouraged them through laws, EPA bull shit, unions, taxes, campaign contributions ( which now will be worse) etc.
