cool pics thanks for sharing. as far as ronnie winning a show like this..it would be very possible. even if he came in alot smaller he could..however his torn muscles would hurt him so i don't know. but there isn't much point for coleman to even try..why would he? theres not much money in it.

No, there were hardly any free samples at all.  A few munchies in the way of protein bar pieces on toothpicks but that's about it.  The Gaspari booth was generous as usual, but otherwise, no.

LOL!!!!!!!!  Are you saying I should include the penis haircut AND silk robe for the Olympia?

PS - I got a tub of Myofusion at the end of the expo.  They were clearing it out for $45 so I figured I may as well buy a review copy.

epic waste of money

Serious question for everyone: Aren't all protein supplements basically the same?  Why is Gaspari being singled out as producing bent wares?  Am I missing something?  I think the most successful company will ultimately be the one that does the best marketing/behind the scenes business side of things, not necessarily the company that produces the best product.  The Gaspari booth is no doubt in my mind the most generous booth though.  Tom Hoops, Gaspari's National Sales Manager, gave me eight free REAL MASS sample packs with my purchase and I got a free shirt, lifting straps, and sample of Myofusion for signing up to their newsletter.  Not sure why the company is under so much scrutiny lately to be honest.  Is Ron Kramer jealous of Rich?

And yes, why are people being mean to me?  ???

Are you saying that no supplements are worth taking?  That the entire industry is bent and it's all just a joke?  Or are you saying this is only partly the case?

i didnt kno it was a protein supp. those are worth the money if priced right, as they can actually save money as compared to chiccken breasts or other protein options. yeah, protien is protein.

I can't eat worth anything.  Whatever protein I get from protein shakes is basically all I get.  I'm honestly beginning to think that I could eat every other day and still feel fine.  I'm realistic though, so I am shooting for a 500 deadlift and 350 bench within a month or two at 160 pounds.  I don't think it would be possible for me to get stronger unless I start to eat more and I have no desire to do that.  I used to be impressed with all strong some guys were, but now I'm growing more and more impressed with how some can eat so much.

are you saying that EVERYTHING you've tried ( reviewed ) was worth what was being asked from people to pay for ?

Well...initially, yes.

Going back to 2000-2003, I spent around $1,000 on MuscleTech supplements alone.  I bought into the ads and didn't know any better.  In 2000 I was 18 so I think I had an excuse to be naive.  At that time, I probably thought that only the top bodybuilders used steroids and some of the guys outside the top 10 were natural.  I just didn't know any better and had an excuse at that point in time.  For the longest time I was getting free supplements for review but since then I have decided to pay for all supplements to see if that makes me reconsider being as generous with some of the reviews.

As for now, my opinion has changed.  I would actually probably recommend doing without supplements and focus on nutrition instead, but for those like myself who can barely eat, I think protein shakes help.  As for SIZEON and a select few other products, I maintain that it works, and incredibly well at that.

It was actually getbig which caused me to stop using supplements for three years, between 2004-2007.  I was a bit disappointed at GOATBOY who had convinced me that all supplements are crap when this isn't exactly the case.  In an industry filled with snake oil, there are still some gems out there.  It's just that contrary to my naive views of 2000, they aren't all gems.

How much money does Rich Gaspari make in a year?

Agreed, Gaspari was giving out tons of goodies! I got 2 sets of those lifting straps and probably 5 samples of product, they have always been good at expo's, though I've noticed muscletech for the first time got super chince
they weren't throwing out t shirts like crazy like at older expo's and now threw out a t shirt maybe once every 20 min instead of throwing them out to everybody with samples of hydroxycut and nitro tech, really dissapointed in them. The last time I went to a pro show I came home with maybe 6 muscletech t shirts (they were throwing them out by the handful)

No amount of protein powder will ever replace a nice 8oz chicken breast of steak.
