What happened to local elections?

They don't seem very local anymore.  Depending on how important it is, or what the issue is, you have money and people from all areas coming in to affect the outcome.  Sometimes with more input coming from outside sources than from the people that fucking live there.

Are you cool with this or do you think it's wrong?

I think it needs to be considered on a case by case basis as some local elections have federal and state consequences - particularly when we consider grant dispersements and appropriations.
