Clarence was trying to date her, she even mentioned on the news this week how he was recovering from a stroke and doing well....but you do make a good point.

I agree somewhat. It is still better than anything on terrestrial radio. I think Howard is at the age where he doesn't give a shit like he once did.

No, he show was always shit...it just got shittier...Because, after awhile, you can only do or say  the same thing for so long, until it's not "shocking anymore"

On another note, Clarence while never feel the comfort of Robin's bosoms...

My condolences, but as a sax player, Clarence was so far overrated. Only reason he got his moment of fame was that he was in a good band with "the Boss" and he probably knew how to kiss a lot of ass once he got into the right scene from being in the right band.
As a sax player though, he could barely squeak out a major scale cleanly. Big man, yes.But only big in stature and size, not legendary like other sax players that could play head and shoulders better than him.

well, in general, i get diarrhea anytime i hear anything from the "boss" and the "e street band".  hopefully, the death of one of those annoying assholes will break up the band.  or so i can hope.  jesus, i hate springsteen's fucking face.  he had two good songs.  and by good i mean i won't vomit when i hear them.

Springsteen, imo, is one of those guys that is a better songwriter than a performer. Certain guys, Neil Young for example, aren't the best onstage. For whatever reason they don't come across as well as another showman, say Michael Jackson or Angus Young. The latter of which doesn't have much talent but what he does do has forged an entire genre of music and he's good at what he does. Though I may not agree with his style or care for it over someone like Grant Green, I can appreciate what he does. But I digress...

Neil Young has always said "I'm a songwriter first, guitar player second and a singer third." I've never heard (not that I've looked for it!) Springsteen say anything of the sort. More like he agrees with the people that call him "the Boss." Usually I'm big on trivia, but WTF do they call him that anyway?! (off to look it up on Wiki!)

This. Sorry the guy is dead and all....but how he became known as a great sax player is beyond me
