I disagree with this. Different people peak at different points in life. Some people look their best in their 20s, some in their 30s, others, 40s or 50s. If you wait long enough the claim, “he didn’t age well” can be applied to everyone.
Case in point, Ryan O’Neal; very handsome young man… he didn’t age so well, but at his peak he took a back seat to no one in the looks department.
You see, most of my family is stuck in a time warp---they still look the same as they did 20, and even 30 yrs ago.
I think with certain people, given a clean living (ex Ryan Oneal), would look better. Once you add booze, drugs, stress, over eating (clearly Mr. O'neal has been "eating well") those variable throw "aging well" out the door. Some people can age gracefully, and many times it's their mentality and genes that reflect that. Given all things being equal, I believe that at attractive person (be it a male) has better chance of aging well than a non attractive or attractive woman (due to her vanity, and wanting to "keep" her youth)
