A curious wish on several fronts:
• are there not enough attractive black men in your world that you have to wish to look like “a black version of” some anonymous Caucasian? Or do you simply find him personally compelling?
• since it is highly unlikely that fellow has “anything he wants in this world.” More than a comment on his looks, your wish betrays startling unhappiness with your own looks and lot in life.
• you appear to equate looks with life satisfaction. Sure, looks matter, but privileging it above what you can achieve with your own industry and work ethic is remarkably unflattering to put it mildly.
Dreaming of looking like “a black version” of one or more white people will not get you far in life and declaring this online or IRL will not win you friends—black or white.
Yours may well me the saddest post I have ever seen posted here . . . and that is saying something. I
hope you, one day, find your self-esteem.
well, in a sense you are correct. I didn't mean "turn him dark", many of the same cues that blacks and whites have for attractiveness are there---square jaw, defined cheekbones. And that "serious" look.
Many women have told me that I am attractive, and some have called me "pretty", I never see it. And I have that same jawline. Several people have commented on my eyes and eyelashes and the way it looks.
Combine the fact that I was shy in HS with acne...I never saw what others see...Combine that with being light brown, in terms of black male attractiveness, one is not seen as "authentic".
Actually, I meant that dude from modelmayhem that I have posted several times, he's about your
complexion...
I was being getbig overexaggeration with that statement (example, "if I had that car, I'd be set") as I know
full well that looks don't bring happiness, as you can see by all the attractive women, who are rather unhappy...the grass is never greener on the otherside
