PLEASE!!! His ratings are even MORE ABYSMAL than they were on MSNBC. The report was that he got a whopping 179,000 viewers in the "money" demo (ages 25-54). You'll notice that they did not say how many viewers he got overall, which is probably because he didn't get much more than that, beyond the "money" demo.

Apparently all that yak, that the progressives were talking when Olbermann got yanked, didn't come to fruition. They were supposed to migrate en masse to support their guy. It didn't happen.

Maybe because unlike republicans, progressives don't look to their tv for the latest idea or sound bite.

Maybe you should read what I said, AGAIN!! When Olbermann got booted from MSNBC, progressives were wailing at the top of their lungs, threatening to boycott MSNBC. And many of them SWORE that, should Olbermann get another TV show, they would migrate IN DROVES to support him, instead of his MSNBC replacement (Lawrence O'Donnell).

I know his ratings weren't stellar. But the lion's share of what he had were progressives, many of whom post on blogs like HP and DU.

They (and others) were the ones yelping about Olbermann's being booted and the cries were that they would march their viewership to whereever Olbermann popped up next. And there was a fair share of progressive pundits, promoting his upcoming appearance on Current TV. Heck, Olbermann got 1.5 million viewers for his first show after his suspension, a spike in his normal ratings for him.

I did catch his first show. Olbermann and Michael Moore basically talking about how Obama is doing the same thing Bush did in areas and that he needs to go to Congress for authorization on Libyia.

I think most people here agree with that. Am I wrong?

yup, they said he was basically taking a short cut and trying to make sure the executive has more power and doesn't lose it. Moore called him out for doing this while also claiming to be a constitutional lawyer. Which is basically the part that makes Obama the same as Bush/Cheney in this area... especially Cheney.
