Actually, considering how many people RX sends to any given expo, I think they are doing pretty well. Dave really took the site to a high level very quickly, no doubt thanks to his considerable experience/networks in the industry.
Do you think Species is doing well as a business?
I would guess yes because the cost to run a booth at the Arnold has to be at least $50,000 and Species had one:
Species also had a booth at the Toronto Pro [pictures below] and for them to have a booth at one of the smaller shows would indicate to me that they are doing pretty well. I think that it would require brains to run a successful supplement company and I've always thought of Dave as being a pretty smart guy. He has really mastered the art of interviewing and I hope to eventually get similar content on my site, maybe when my kids are a little older and I have more time to focus on the site.
The only thing which would make me question the success of Species right now would be the status of the lawsuit which was filed earlier. I think that could have a detrimental impact on the company if the suit is successful, but otherwise I would guess that the company is doing quite well. I don't know for a fact though, but it seems that way to me.
