If you lived in Quebec, you'd have the day off.  Today is the Nativity of John the Baptist. 

While not recognized by any ecclesiatical body, tomorrow is "Leon" ("Noel" spelled backwards...exactly halfway between last Christmas and next Christmas)

It is on the Roman church calendar, but I remember seeing it on a secular calendar once so I looked it up.
