Surprise of the Tampa show was Marius Dohne comes in, and takes the top honor over favorite Hidetada.  Did the judges get it right?  Yep!

I'm not surprised at Marius, Ron.  He's been working with Farah and it appears that the judges are putting more weight on conditioning and aestetics which works in his favor

Looked at some pics yesterday and thought, "Dohne really nailed it his time". Never thought he would win in though, never thought he could win a pro show. Not a top show but still beat a few good names.

Judging's never changed. They don't think, "now we're going to reward aesthetics" or mass. They just pic the best overall like always. They reward a subjective "superiority" which is amazingly consistent among judges and fans alike considering it is a subjective sport. Yes there are bad calls but it could be worse, considering how you can't put on paper or use a mathematical formula to judge someone the best that day.

I can't beleive Marius pulled it off- over some tough guys to beat- Hide for one!  Nice job and congrats to him! Why was Brandon Curry so far down?- I have to go find the pics now.
