The video below is from a Rochester, New York, neighborhood meeting in support of Emily Good, the woman arrested for videotaping a traffic stop from her front yard. So Rochester police sent four squad cars to ticket the cars of meeting attendees who parked more than 12 inches from the curb. Yes, they even brought a ruler.

This is the video of Emily who was arrested on her front lawn for filming a pig at work.

shut up moron, no lawful order was given to her,  "go in your house" is not a lawful order nor can they order us to do anything outside their jurisdiction. She has every right to be outside on her property and filming them, she can resist arrest actually, and even kill a cop unlawfully trying to arrest her and it would be involuntary manslaughter. He gave no alleged reason for arrest that was lawful and broke the law and should be fired.

From her other videos, she was actually approaching the officers closely and on the sidewalk and mocking them and make snide remarks.  That's obstruction of justice and while most officers ignore it, some others won't especially if they asked nicely the first time and you refused.  

If you want to film police officers, that's fine...just stay a practical distance from them and don't engage them in any type of manner while they are working.  Otherwise, you're "obstructing" their duties and you can be arrested.

i hate to say this by agree with you vince. when someone makes remarks it amplifies the situation..sometimes gets the person that is being arrested to act up and become violent when the were calm. it also does this when there are large crowds around. someone yells leave alone pig and before you know it someone is throwing a bottle at the cops head. like you said if she would have filmed from a distance and kept her mouth shut she would have been fine. i think she wanted to start something with them
