Dream Match
« on: June 30, 2011, 03:36:29 AM »
I am sure this has been done before but what would you have loved to see, past current or future

Angle vs Brett Hart
Angle vs Malenko

Ultimate Warrior vs Goldberg, granted it would be a 3 minute match but would be curious as to who would really go over

I think Cena vs. Undertaker for his 20th win at Mania could be pretty cool. Or Foley vs. Undertaker. This match is going to be one of the biggest in the history of the show. Has all the potential of a "Dream Match". It will be such a waste if it's against HHH again.

This might happen!

Flair vs Austin during both of their primes.  Promos would have been worth the price of admission.

4 Horsemen vs nWo team in a War Games match during the Horsemen's prime.

Road Warriors vs British Bulldogs

Bret Hart vs Ricky Steamboat.

That match did happen...once.
Unfortunately, it was not televised.

Bret was supposed to put Steamboat over at WM 2, but plans were changed at the last minute and the HF was thrown into the Battle Royal, while Ricky got Hercules.
Bret was really disappointed in losing the opportunity with Ricky, but the two still had a pre-WM spot show match.
Ricky knew Bret was upset, and so he told him, "Hey, let's go out there and show them [management] what they're missing."
Bret admits that Steamboat worked extra hard to give him a great match and make him shine.

I think HHH would work well with some of the guys he's emulated over the years like Harley and Arn. I would like to see Taker-Arn, too...I lost my mind when he hit that spinebuster out of nowhere at Wrestlemania.

No way. Savage played the crowd way better. A real bad guy. He jumped off the top rope both inside and outside of the ring. Plus he had Liz. That cool robe and entrance.
Totally agree. Macho's charisma made that match much more entertaining and Steamboat played off him perfectly. Did Shawn and Eddie ever have a match? I heard it was planned for Wrestlemania 22 but obviously never happened.

They kind of done it.  Imposter Kane vs. Kane where it turned that the Imoster Kane was Undertaker.

I would have loved to seen Undertaker vs HBK hell in the cell II. I think a second chance with it and they could have made another legendary match.
They've ruined HIAC for me...It used to be a brutal match that was only used for the biggest feuds. Now, they have them every year and they are just regular matches inside a cell. It's lost everything that made it special.

 :(

Brody-Foley

At first glance I thought Foley would have wrestled Brody as Cactus Jack in the old WCCW but apparently Brody had passed a year or two before Foley came to Texas.

That would have been a helluva matchup though.
