I don't think these Hispanics are going to vote for some cracker in a suit talking about giving tax breaks to the rich and taking away social programs for the poor:) Owned before the election even takes place.

Armed with fresh census data, Latinos around the country are flexing their political muscle. From state legislatures to Congress, the Hispanic vote is getting a voice.

Twelve million Hispanics are expected to vote in next year's elections, according to a survey the National Association of Latino Elected Officials released last week.

Latino officials see big Hispanic vote in 2012

These findings come after census numbers show that Hispanics make up 16.3% of the U.S. population and are now the country's largest minority group.

i think they are only counting legal 12 million is a small number, if they counted all Hispanics, Mexican's whatever you want to call them it would be a much larger number.

I know there are Haitians in Montreal although I did not hear about them being in Toronto but it's quite possible. It seemed to me that 50% of the population in Toronto didn't speak English as a first language. Remember, "Diversity is our strength".
