My best squatting poundages and reps:
225 - 27 reps at about 155 pounds bodyweight
275 - 20 about 165 pounds bodyweight
315 - 2 sets of 10 reps at about 165 pounds bodyweight
370 - for a triple at about 165 pounds bodyweight
405 - 1 rep max at about 165 pounds bodyweight
All done slightly below paralell................
...........result,zero quad size and a fucked up lower back!!
My legs don`t grow for shit, but look better now with me doing mostly leg presses or unilateral leg presses......still my worst bodypart and I train them hard as hell.
We don`t have a hack machine at our gym (on a college campus......only gym in town),but heavy hacks are what originally fucked up my back..........but I was ego training and I do love hacks as a quad movement if you have a good machine that lessens the pressure on the knees.
Some older model hack machines are just knee wreckers..........PERIOD
