I saw a guy on tv complaining that the gov was only looking at culture from an economic point of view, but why was he in The Hague?

Breaking Away.

Not so much for the cheesy "underdog comes out on top" ending to the Little 500, but for the scene in the quarry where Dennis Quaid's character gets owned beyond belief (or as is now known, "has his Squadfather moment").
