Forgot my ipod and had to endure 45 minutes of loud techno music.

I know I should be focused on the training and not the music but seriously how do people listen to that shit?

Techno is awesome. It increases heart rate which gets me pumped up.

My gym plays the worst shit on the planet.

I can`t wear headphones when I train,only when doing cardio.

Me neither. I always ask the nice lass at the front desk on my way in if she'll put on 'old people music' (classic rock). I've heard show tunes, disco, and - I shit you not - one day we had the theme to The Price is Right! We just all stood looking at each other, like, what the fuck is going on here!?

I can relate bro............they play rap and fucking country at my gym until i get there and ~~ask nicely~~ fucking threaten their lives if they don`t put on classic rock.

2-3 stations here and they all suck ass.

Dude, seriously I feel your pain, there is no worse feeling then forgetting your ipod/mp3 player and having to listen to the gym's fucked up selection of rihanna and lady gaga; which leads to a really bad workout

well there is a difference between rap and hip hop...that garbage rap they play on the radio these days is awful...old school and some underground hip hop is great workout music.

Bloc Party has a black lead singer, they're English though, don't know if that counts.

Vernon Reid's a rocker.

But yeah, they mostly suck balls.
