One of the worst bodystyles and it was neutered...
The 68-73 was better. The right curves, the right front and rear bumpers, the right ducktail, the right interior, and the right engines...by 74 they fucked up the design with those bumpers and the rear. The wheel arches were to pronounced. The 79s had virtually no real pwer and had fake dual exhausts.
If the Porsche 911 and Corvette were (still are) rivals, at the time it was the 911 that was winning. Those late 70s to early 80s C3 represent the dark ages of the Corvette Brand---superficial, exaggerated styling without the power to match.

Amen. You are correct. That being said, not a fan of American cars in general, driven tons of them, just doesn't have the right feel to me, lots of power, that's all.

That's the thing, lol. I'm more about the "overall" car. The chasis, suspension, balance, etc...

One of my favorites the BMW 3.0 CSL "batmobile."

The old Porsche "yellowbird," and of course, the e30 BMW M3 Evo. Dozens more, the only ones I could think of on the top of my head.  ;)

Sick ride, love the rims. Everything has to go well together on a muscle car, That one has the right look.

Same here, I always wanted to live in an old Chevy van. They have so much character and drive nice.

A family up the street from me when I was a kid had a 79-80 Vette...it wasn't until I was in my teens did I realize how slow it was...and that all those exaggerated curves were show---it promised more than it delivered...like a busty woman...who happens to be a virgin and a nun...

I will post pics of some "barn" finds...basically old cars on my fam's farm (65 impala couple, 67 Bel Air sedan--looks like the Supernatural 67 Impala sedan, and 50s Chevy Truck with dump truck option)

This and the 76 Starsky and Hutch I had until 2003 were my favorites. I grew up watching the TV show S&H and always loved the car. Then Smokey and the Bandit came out and I really loved the Trans Am. But I'm a huge fan of muscle cars and if I ever hit the lottery...
