President Barack Obama's campaign website was hacked Tuesday — inviting visitors to events hosted by a "Commy Obama," the Washington Examiner reports.

According to the Examiner, the hackers left a message, since taken down, titled the "Rules of Politics," not specifically directed to any candidate or party."

"1. Politicians and other public servants lie," the event description provided on the Obama campaign website, reportedly said. "2. Politicians tell you what you want to hear and offer to provide things for 'free' to get votes. 3. When government buys, the people pay."

The incident comes a day after an electronic attack on Fox News's twitter account falsely reported that Obama had been assassinated in Iowa Sunday night. In fact, he was at the White House.
