Trying to decide which truck I should get. It will probably be a 2007 or 2008 model. Any suggestions?

If using for towing I would get a 2000 to 2004 F-250 Diesel for the same price.

They look great, last forever, and pull anything you need plus you can switch out the front ends with a kit and get that new look for less than a grand.

If it were my money, I would get the Tundra, but if you want to go domestic I would get the F150.

Well I can tell you right now that King Ranch you have posted is going to look better than ANYTHING Chevy puts out 1/2 ton interior wise if you are willing to drop 30k+ for the thick saddle leather seats but as far as overall look, I have to go with Chevy...and I have been a Ford man for the past decade but Chevrolet really brought their "A" game with the last batch of trucks they put out.

Toyota has been all down hill since the end of the T100...now that was a vehicle that did everything you asked of it and then some.

I've had mine since '03. Right now it's got about 125,000 miles on it.
It's been in 2 serious accidents (other driver's fault) and runs like a champ. I've abused the fuck out of it when it was new...offroading, mudding...etc.

Only serious maintenance other than tires, oil changes and battery ...was around 100,000 I changed all fluids, spark plugs, belts, water pump. The cost to own it is next to nothing.

I want to buy another car soon but I love having no car payment and the bulletproof reliability.

I could say the same exact thing about a Chevy or Ford but with 150,000 miles on it once you start talking about replacing water pumps and belts as constituting a "bullet proof" vehicle.

I know a guy who's got the silverado hd 2500. Badass truck.

I know a few more people with f150s. I'm more partial to them...especially the king ranch and lariats. More luxurious.

Fucking king ranch has cow hide leather interior, heated seats, nav, full power...awesome.

I would never buy a full size truck unless I had a business that needed it...fucking gas in the next year and forward will be a killer.

Chevy trucks ride a lot nicer than the Fords. I would suggest that if you are gonna be towing a lot, get a 3/4 ton diesel ( 2500 or F250 ). However if you're gonna tow something only once a year the 1/2 ton will be more than enough.

Ford tries too much cute shit when engineering their vehicles, that being said my F250 has been pretty good and so has my Suburban. For a light duty truck the others are right, the Toyota is engineered better and made from higher quality materials (the interior does suck though).

Get the F-150. Awesome truck, super high quality, and huge aftermarket. The Silverado is a nice truck as well, but I'm just wary of a GM Bailout pickup. I myself have a Dodge Ram Hemi quad cab....its junk, but does its job in towing the boat, making trash runs, and hauling the dogs around.

As for the Tundra..............garb age POS truck. It looks nice, but thats about it. The frame bends on the thing.
