I think they also tried to ban any fast food within so many miles of inner city areas/low income areas as well...

If that's your point, then I agree.  People probably don't think or talk much about polygamy laws.  That doesn't mean people don't care about them.  It's just something that has been settled for a long time and doesn't come up too much. 

If people in Alabama knew it was illegal to play dominoes on Sundays, they would probably repeal that law.  (At least that's my guess.) 

I doubt we can say the same about polygamy.  Everyone already knows it's illegal and has been for a very long time, and there has been no real movement to make it legal.

Which makes ya wonder....  Why do they need it to be legal?  If ten women want to pledge themselves to one man, they can at their discretion.  Same with gays.  But its really about tax benefits.  And i don't think it will ever be legal for polygamists

The Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors voted to ban restaurants from offering toys or other incentive items in conjunction with foods that contain excessive calories, sodium, fat, saturated fat, trans fat and sugars.
