Cormier there was in a class of his own, could very well have had an O if he maxed out his physique - no weaknesses and practically the very definition of the policy changes they made a few years later.

I cant tell you how pleased i am to see JD acknowledged on here, a genuine gentleman with one of the better physiques to ever come out of the UK. His arms were world class regardless of who he stood next to, in most lineups they would be in a league of their own. Never got what he deserved IMO, he was much better than his official placings.

I agree, I think JD has been under-rated ever  he got his Pro Card back in the 90s. Although, later on, as evidence by that pic, he was starting to grow a gut...I still have the Flex Mag with his arm training article.

WOW! thats fucking amazing

no wonder he had that massive ego back then...

fucking amazing!

What do you mean, "back then?" Guy has always had it, and always will. He's not confident in his ability, especially since he's turned to shit since then, he's outright arrogant about it.

He looked phenomenal in that photo shoot, but that was the only time he looked that way on a Pro stage.

JD had an awesome physique and should have been placed higher many times IMO.

I too have that one, there is a full page pic of him showing his bicep and it looks 23" easy. Not to say it was, only that it looks that way....

The cover has him doing preacher curls, correct? Yeah, I agree, he had 3D arms, especially his biceps. He competed several times after 2001, and I think he quit, am I right?

He retired around 03 - 04 i think, havent seen anything of him in years. We had Taylor, Abbew & Dawodu all competing together who all had massive arms and especially phenomenal biceps. Taylor may have had funky tris but his actual biceps were top class.

Which is why he retired. He was shafted repeatedly!
I remember where he did a contest like the Ironman, and he was a mass monster something like 260+, then he did another contest a few months later like the Toronto Pro (prior to it's hibernation) and came in completely ripped and DAP conditioning at a lower bodyweight like 220. He was spot on perfect as he could be, and was placed horribly though he looked far better.

Then he announced his retirement shortly after that, at least some time that year IIRC.

King was more conditioned than Melvin, Melvin rarely came in conditioned...But, Melvin had way better shape and a better back detail, and knew how to play it up....

I like those type of quality photos...truly gives a "hardcore" look to it. And you can see the quality of his muscle as well...also reminds me of those old  Vic Richards photos.

Which Kamali tried to replay against Farah, and cameoff like a douche...

I used to go to J.D. Dawodou's gym in London back in 2009, the guy was still a monster.

Melvin = cracking me up/King def holding his own up there ( i forgotten how good/wide his back was)
Watched a few minutes of your "In The Trenches" video over at MD. I'm not surprised that you said you lack friends and a relationship. No one wants to be friends with someone who constantly name drops to make themself seem relevent. Also, you strut around like a beast during the video. Sorry to break it to you but you still have the appearance of the stringy 155 6'2 guy you were when you started lifting. Lastly, your form is completely sloopy. You seem like a decent guy although you talk a lot of shit. This is just my assessment of what you decided to portray on an open video forum. Seriously, I would suggest re-evaluating yourself and your lifting technique if you ever want to make any decent gains.

What the hell are you talking about?!?!?? (i don't know "Melvin" nor have i ever claimed to) he "cracks me up" in the video by Mimicking Kamali/he actually jumps in the air at one point to pose his hamstrings,"I'm sorry you feel that way about me/or that's how i come off in the video (that's definitely not how i am/or how i want to be portrayed)
