Pins and needles feeling in fingers?
« on: July 10, 2011, 02:56:53 PM »
I'm on a test (500 mg/week) and dianabol (30-40 mg/day), and I've started getting this pins and needles feeling in the tips of my fingers. Does anyone know what this it?

It only started once I went from 30 to 40 mg on dianabol, which was yesterday. I'm gonna guess it might be this, but does anyone know what it is?

Thanks.

I just got my blood pressure done, and it was fine.

It's probably me overreacting. We'll see how it goes. Thanks, fellas!

Nope, I've taken a few days off to recover.

Possibilities:
CTS
Placebo
Enviroment caused i.e. training, eating, stress etc
Unknown-get a check-up

Hmm. I'll bump down the dianabol to 30 mg again and see if that has any effects. If it persists, I might go to the doctor.

Thanks, guys. :)

DBol increase has you holding more water which is  putting more pressure on the joints, etc...much like carpel tunnel as someone else mentioned.

also...you'll have to watch your sodium intake if you're going to keep the dose at that level...

Is this serious? Will taking in less sodium stop it, or should I just lower the dose?

Thanks, Chick. :)

lol. the pseudo science on this board is hilarious.

do you really think that an increase in cellular water is going to increase pressure in the body to such an extent that it starts to impinge on nerves?- do you not think that the skin and muscle fascia and so on cannot stretch to accommodate some water?

im not saying im right, but it makes me laugh every time i see someone here take 1 and 1 and come up with 3...and then claim to be an expert.

it could be a whole bunch of far more logical things than a fanciful correlation to an increase of 25% of a daily steroid dose.

not if your BP is fine..more annoying than anything.  less sodium is a good idea anyway.

x2

Impingement at the nerve root....impingement at the brachial plexus....impingement at the flexor retinaculum.....

Train hard with some straps that maybe were a little tight? (would explain bilateral pain).....potential central disc bulge/prolapse.....more likely the causes than "excess sodium"   ::)

Dude, those are symptoms of multiple sclerosis and Epstein-Barr virus!

Seriously though, suck it up, ride it out and stop whingeing.
