I dont wear any jewelry, not even a watch. never have. its annoying

same here. no ring, no jewelry of any kind, never worn a watch.

but my wife doesn't mind that i don't wear the ring because i told her that if i wore the wedding ring i'd just be attracting more chicks.

I do wear mine like 90% of the time, But I don't ever wear it when I work out.

Sometimes I'll forget to put it on and go out without it to work, dinner, whatever - wife doesn't get upset or anything though!

I would have been happy to, but I had at least 3 jewellers laughing their asses off when they saw rings on my fingers. After years of being a macho martial arts teacher and breaking stuff, my stuff fingers are not all that elegant (or straight), and rings on them just look stupid.

I offered to wear mine on a chain around my neck, but the wife was having none of that and told me she'd rather I wear nothing at all than look like an idiot drawing attention to my deformed fingers.

After forty-six years wearing my wedding ring, I had to have it made larger this year by two sizes. What's up with that? It wasn't that my knuckles are arthritic and therefore larger, it is that my ring finger has actually become bigger. I hadn't been able to take it off, without considerable work, for a number of years. Now I can. Wearing it while working out creates a really big callous on my hand just beneath the ring. So, today when working biceps and triceps, I took it off and put it in my pocket. Unfortunately, no hot chicks hit on me while I wasn't wearing it. LOL!

Its funny though, last few weeks of contest prep I take it off because it just keeps sliding off due to me losting weight and all, I almost lost it on a plane once travelling to a show, cause I was sleeping and it just slipped off my finger and fell on the floor.
