This is the inevitable result of socialism. Eventually it sucks the life out of the economy and the freeloaders all have to fight for a smaller piece of a shrinking pie.
Swede's country is a good example.
Because of Capitalism, Sweden became one of the richest countries in the world. Then the Welfare State took over and made the country uncompetitive. Fortunately, with free market initiatives, viz. lower taxes, the country was able to regain some of its past competitiveness.

Look, I agree. It'd be nice to trim the political fat and the idle, and the fuck-ups from the roster, but that is just the 'price' we pay for the soft life that you and I enjoy. And we may not appreciate it, given the lurid and usually racially-tinged episodes like the ones you cite, but we do enjoy luxuries like most people on the earth do not. Trust me, when your life flickers from life to death your last bits of consciousness will not be about money or Black people.  |
