well , to be honest...
only using your hands can't be called a fight.....
in a real fight that never happens, and usually a fight will end on the ground.

boxing as a martial art, is incomplete.
a human has arms and legs.. why only use one of these weapons, does not make sense...
guess it's hard for you to swallow that a world class boxer will allways loose from an average mma fighter in a barfight.... just a fact.....

Boxing is a beautiful art. MMA is raw and animalistic and encoded into our DNA. Whats interesting is that most people would have much less fear getting into a ring with a prime Mike Tyson than they would getting into a ring with an above average MMA guy.The worst that would happen with Tyson is a quick knockout. With an MMA guy, you could actually think you may wind up dead or have a broken neck. MMA is awesome in that respect.

A lot more deaths have occurred in boxing then there have in mma, in fact I don't think anyone has died yet in mma. Many boxers have died shortly after fights. The fact of the matter is the limiting to mainly head only punches causes way more brain damage than using every body part. Not to mention a lot of boxers could probably kill you in one punch. It's all about g-force.
