I was totally in awe of these guys back when these videos came out.   Guys like Coleman, Dillet, Ray, Levrone, and Flex blow away todays pros.  They actually had some personality, and would talk shit to each ohter and have legit rivalries.  I personally don't give a shit about todays pros.
"Oh, and a message to Levrone....You say you hear me knocking? I don't knock on doors, I knock them over..."

and "he" was pissed when Levrone beat him at the 96 AC.

yeah, because they were bigger fucking idiots than the bbers today.

it's a huge pageant / masturbation festival which has no objective judgment criteria, so not like there's a real "rivalry". ::)

Kinda funny that he's talking smack after Levrone basically 1-uped him his entire career until the 96' Grand Prix shows

No they weren't. Are you claiming that guys like Yates, Coleman, Ray etc.... weren't 1000x more professional then todays bodybuilders? Even 3rd tier pros like Mattarazzo (sp?) were more interesting then Jay Cutler!

Well, Flex was the "rising star" when he uttered those words on tape, 1 week prior to the 93 O.

1993 Mr. O:

His posing was atrocious, but worse was him trying to pose like Shawn Ray. That was one of the worst routines in MR. O history. Dillet was a freak but the guy is a fuking moron.

Flex was better than Kevin and got robbed that one Arnold he beat Flex (flex coming back from the car accident) I remember the crowd booing when Flex was announced 2nd. Kevin was good, Flex was better.

Arnold said he just needed to practice more.  :D

Nah, but shaking aside, he shouldn't be posing to sissy R&B music. He's not pretty and not Shawn Ray so he didn't even come close to pulling those retarded routines off.

Oh sorry, I was talking about Levrone owning Dillett throughout the majority of Dillett's career. I was assuming that was a Dillett quote, but I guess it wasn't.

Funny tidbit for anyone who cares. Dillet once remarked that his arms were so big and felt so heavy that he'd have to stick them in his pants pockets. Lol. I'm not kiddin'. And, shit, when you look at how big his arms were, you feel somewhat inclined to believe him ! :D

I believe it because he was a lazy shit. Dude pussy footed in the gym, had piss poor work ethic and would stop a workout short once he was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. Dillet's attribute 100% was steroid receptors and genetics.

Thing is, he had several shoulder surgeries, and the doctors told him he had no cartilage in his shoulders---just grinding bone on bone, yet he continued...

Vanity. It wasn't due to work ethic, it was just his vanity that kept him going.
