I thought the "extreme" right were the only ones that did not understand nor accept the separation of church and state?

It's ok for liberals to use religion when it's convenient for them. Oh, I see.

These are two different things.  She's not saying God told her like bachmann says.  What she is doing is interpreting the bible and trying to connect illegal immigration with how the country was built.  

Illegal immigration is something I have spoke out on for sometime.  We should call back all our troops, and build a border fence and guard it with the national guard and an increased border force.  Make it far harder for illegals to get jobs, go to school, get services, etc.  Make those in the USA all apply for citizenship with in 2 years but must pass a passable English  speaking test or they get the boot. I have always disliked Pelosi.

333333, is there anything else with zero relation to having conversations with god you'd like to compare bachmann too or do you actually have something where a politician is talking with God?

Do you understand the difference between interpreting the bible for your political purposes and having conversations with god?  Both are potentially bad IMO.  But both are different.  And the only reason I was on the bachmann thread is because I was in a conversation over it with a.few posters including yourself. 

If anyone wants to try and defend pelosi's statement on this thread or the other one about abortion I will be happy to joust with them.
