So I guess someone is placing a link in a thread that raises the antivirus alarm. The link also tries to redirect you to a website that will dismantle your computer from a safe distance. I actually lost a computer to getbig last year.

Someone hacks the server, puts a .js file in there, reports it. JS file is removed, but Google wont remove the warning until you ask them too... 'under review'

Even though it was removed yesterday, they still have it there -

It should be gone in a few hours as they have indicated they would.

In Firefox, I just unticked the box that said "block reported attack sites". Works fine now.

There is one piece of software out there, I think it's called "Antivirus 2010" or some bullshit, that is planted on computers through several websites. For the life of me, I can't understand why the owners of these sites and/or the maker of the software aren't sued beyond recognition. There has to be millions of computers ruined because of it. And a lot of these sites are in the U.S., too.

Our brilliant "law enforcement" is so quick to seize a site that's selling drugs, etc., so I have to wonder what's stopping them from shutting down these bullshit sites. It's been going on for years.
