I'm liking the trailer, think it should be entertaining if anything.  it can't be a dud like green lamp and Thorn!

Actually looks kinda ok.
Dude Thor was pretty good, Lantern was Ok.
Thor was NOT a dud.

Some people have way to high expectations for these Hero movies.
Thor was pretty fuggin good I thought.
Never followed Thor a lot, but from what I remembered they seem to have got him close to right.

I really hate it how these new films are killing the back stories.

literally they are taking old movie titles and writing new and completely different stories.  This sucks if you are old enough to remember the originals.  I still prefer the Charleston Heston versions.

Thats true, it wasnt Cheesy. It was deadly serious the whole time. But the story demanded it to be. Thor's storyline didnt have the same requirement.
I thought Thor pulled it off perfectley. Wasnt too cheesy, had the gravity of seriousness when it needed to, and wasnt when it didnt need to be.
Lamp was exactly how I thought it would be, cheesy, kinda funny, and awesome special effects.
Fun to see just to see GL come to life.

I'm with you on this. Nowadays, the trailers just compile the high tension/most dramatic scenes and the rest of the movie seems uneventful once you have to sit through it. That trailer is pretty fucking clear, why would you need to see the movie when everything is so explicit?
