a tattoo well placed on your body can be very nice... but in the face????
and indeed a former pro , competing in the amateurs is silly and pathetic on his part.

the dude is a nutcase, and has small man syndrome... soon he will loose his muscle.. and what will he have??
5'3 of nothing with a nasty tattoo in his face...
he is not capable of maintaining a relationship, not able to maintain good business relationships as well.
that says a lot about a person.
what can he do besides being a pro? ( washed up pro )

It doesn't matter if Lee is a loser, moron, has mental issues or whatever and he may very well be his own worst enemy.

But that is beside the point.

If the rules of the federation say that he is allowed to compete in an amateur division, then he is allowed to compete.

Whether he should compete is a totally separate issue.

Bodybuilding seems to have always been run through a cult of personalities. Real issues that any large, professional organisation has to deal with are given lip service in order to placate the leading personalities.

Professionals ought to be able to recognise the difference between an issue and a personality clash.

.....YES! of course he can enter a show and compete against guys that were looking at pictures of lee on stage AT THE OLYMPIA when they were just THINKING of taking up bodybuilding, yes, rules say he can absolutely do that!

and then there is the mind of someone like lee...who was actually CONSIDERING this move. THIS! is the discussion here.

pathetic. way to wash away a career.

What is disgusting is the IFBB pro division uses supensions to control the professionals from competing elsewhere. They don't play fair and are corrupt from the top to the lowly pro athletes rep.

If an outspoken guy like Lee is punished no other pro will speak out for fear of getting the same. Bob Chick did absolutely bugger all for Lee or Milos. He is part of the problem in bodybuilding.

Should Priest be allowed to compete - yes, the rules do not forbid it.
Should he compete - of course he shouldn't.

But bodybuilding spends far too much time dealing with personalities rather than with issues. It creates its own problems and now has to lie in them. Little wonder that the sport is easily seen as a joke.

Professional bodybuilding is more akin to professional wrestling than Greco-Roman wrestling.

It could be a sport, if run correctly, but there is far too much self-entrenched egotism to make the necessary changes. It has been run on the ad-lib for so long now that any other way of looking at the industry is almost impossible.
