i remember being a little kid, renting UFC 5,6,7 era tapes from the Akron Public Library.

Ken shamrock and others.  if I recall - they used to fight 8 guys a night... if you win, you advance.

So the winner would fight 3 times in one night.  And they always mismatched people.  One fight had this little karate guy break the nose of a giant sumo in like 5 seconds.

That's pretty fun to watch sometimes. I wish they had an open tournament in the ufc like they did in pride.

Used to love watching Tank Abbott, they didn't have the one there in the Ultimate Ultimate where he knocked out the guy and the guy was on his knees just out of it. Then he went to the final and beat up Don Frye until he slipped and Frye put him in a hold and won.

Imagine having an altercation with a guy like tank abott in a bar. He looks like a fat fuck slob. In his prime he would knock the block off of 99% of normal people in a street fight.
