While we argue over which terrible deficit plan is better

Obama is running $1.5 trillion deficits every year while Boner and Dingy Reid argue over which plan that cuts $100 billion a year from that is the best. So instead of a $20+ trillion deficit by 2018 we end up with $19 trillion. Not only that, but neither plan even satisfies the requirements for avoiding a downgrade. A downgrade will cost this country at least $100 billion a year. Congrats, we're back at square ONE.

The Tea Party seems to be the only ones who understand this. How sad.

Jim Rogers said the USA lost its AAA rating years ago and he's 100% right.

I'm not misunderstanding anything. Neither the Boners or the Piglosis of either party have any clue about it. If they did, we wouldn't be talking about cutting $100 billion a year from a $1.5 trillion deficit.

The Simpson-Bowles plan is still the best one that has been presented to this point. Too bad Obama pissed all over it. Now we get Dingy Reid and his phantom savings.  :-\


Word is Harry Reid's plan saves $29 trillion from the war with the Martians we won't be fighting!
