I got the impression from the debate over the repeal of DADT, that there are millions of gays just waiting for the ban to be lifted so they can join the military. I thought they’d be lined up around the block at recruiting stations around the country on the day the ban is lifted. Gays have allowed their sexuality to define them.

But I do and regardless of whatever laws or new rules are in place, it doesn't change the primary goal of the military which is to serve and defend the United States even if it cost us our fucking lives no matter what kind of fucking mess our politicians get us involved in.
