Impressive, however, as other said: Those are in reality incline bench-presses. He arches is back so much that his pecs are doing most of the work.

For a bodybuilder, it defeats the purpose of the exercise, but impressive nonetheless. He is going to hurt his back though...

Fair enough, but find a seated press video over 225 where there is no arch (not including PBN)...

Assbruise obviously one of the guys that can't even roll 405 across the floor. Probably military presses pink dumbells.

Nitpicking there bro most vids I've seen with bbers doing military presses they have an "arc" in their back too why because when the weight gets heave body English kicks in I see nothing wrong with the form in this vid or the one where he presses 405. I mean look at that vid and look at the vid of branch warren pressing a lot less weight but half standing up.

Of course, with his back supported, and the pec's taking in a lot of the press, on THE INCLINE BENCH, that is not near a true military press. How about him standing up and pressing straight overhead, with a lockout at the top.

The original military press was with the heels together, knees locked and the back ramrod straight.  He might be good for 205 in that strict style.

He's done 315 for reps strict/standing, so maybe 205 for 20 yeah.

SZLOL; With heels together, knees locked (no dip to start the motion), no back bend, lockout overhead? Video of that?

Paul Anderson cleaned & pressed 425 for 2 reps (notice the clean was included), And according to witnesses, somewhat easily. Also according to witnesses, push pressed 600X1 from a rack. Many of the Russian Olympic heavyweights included 500-600lb presses/jerk presses during regular training sessions. Was also said that Anderson would support 1000+ overhead, in lockout, just to strengthen the shoulder girdle and get use to handling heavier weights.

Not taking anything away from that 455, a lift to be proud of.  But lets be truthful about what that lift actually was. An incline is an incline. And a overhead press is a overhead press.

Haven't seen the vid, just going from what he said and I believe him. There's a video of Evan Katona (sp) the pro strongman strict pressing 352 for reps on youtube. Probably the most impressive one out there.

found it-

It's a very high incline press. I'm one of the first to bitch about form and proper nomenclature when it comes to the lifts, but after a certain point you just got to enjoy it for what it is, a strong guy doing strong things. If you're Patera, Big Z, Rigert, Redding, Bednarski, Schmanski, Alexeev, etc... you can be dismissive of that guy's lifts, if not, then don't.

Not impressed. May years ago I actually lifted a car ten inches off the ground and helt it there for 5 seconds so that my friend could change it's tires. We were going to a party and twe got a flat tire and had no wrench to work with. I lifted 2,200 lbs for 5 minutes ten inches off the ground.

I feel the need to note that the clean was included because the lift clean and press was part of weightlifting (= part of a legit judged sport). That 600 pound push press is pure fairy tale.
