What would you do?

So today I'm parking my car. Me and my girlfriend going through the parking spot towards our home and we see these 2 shady guys walking towards us.

I had a funny feeling about them, looked like 2 douchebags. So we keep going and I even looked back to see what they were doing, for some reason I thought perhaps they were robbers or smth. Keep going hear a noise coming from where they are.. keep going, after about 30 seconds it hits me that the strange noise came from where my car was...
I go over there and see that the side mirror is broken, the skinny douchebags broke it but it was too late for anything now as they are long gone.

I walked around the parking lot and saw another car with a broken side mirror, atleast its not only me.. guess it kinda made me more happy.

So lets say I would realize they were breaking the mirror of my car while it was still reasonable to chace them. Should I chance them and risk possibly getting stabbed by 2 douchebags, and even if I say confronted them.. what would be the outcome?  They looked like the type who would hang out with a knife.

What would you do?

thats what ebay is for, no need to risk your life, or your GF over a mirror, Unless you have some Ass Kicking skills or a sharp shooter with a shark of a lawyer .... Not worth it

Depends on the situation. If it was some crazy looking fuckers that looked like they had a knife or a gun I would just call the cops. If it was two little douchebagges doing it for kicks I would pull out the baseball bat out of my backseat and break their kneecaps  :D

call teh cops, say they offered you drugs, you said no, they threatened you and then broke your mirror and ran away.  give the cops a description and hang up.

case solved, they get raped.

Have you ever felt the adrenaline rush of catching someone messin with your stuff? The chase, the fight........it's insane.

I think it is hard to know for sure what one would do if the circumstances were different so that these asses were actually caught in the act of breaking the mirrors. My gut feeling is I would go after them and at least scare the shit out of them. Maybe I am naive about these things, but it wouldn't occur to me that they would carry knives. Seems to me that although it is smart to be aware of the danger involved, one cannot live in fear of something happening so they do nothing to avoid a confrontation. Punks often count on folks being too afraid to do anything, that's why they get away with this kind of shit. I'd bust their balls and be happy for it.

When I was young and reckless I'd go after them no mather what. Now I'm older and wiser and I prefer buying a new mirror over the risk of getting injured or worse..

i dont know, sometimes you get so angry that the adrenaline rush is forcing you to handle instinctively and maybe beat the shit out of them and perhaps killing them. that i know i will maybe do when i would spot animal cruelty or unjust towards other people, racism etc. but when weapons involved i would probaby chicken out.
