.. because they still spew the bullshit of cardio. Just yesterday I heard a "fitness expert" on TV saying it "just doesn't work without cardio". Fact is, most fat people hate cardio, so they give up before even trying. Discuss.

Most "fitness trainers" also advocate low carb diets. A sure fire way for the client to fail. "Cardio" in itself is not necessary but interval training is.

i'm sorry but fat people should be sent to rehab centers. They need long term discipline to change deeply rooted bad habits parents cant stop themselves. They need long term discipline to learn new, efficient conditionnings. Only a very very small fraction of them nowadays cure their life threathening illness. Most spend their whole life suffering and annoying everyone else.

Governements should build centers run by professionnals, it would give a lot of jobs to a lot of people in the process.

But it would also mean the end of the fitness/suplement/bodybuilding industry...

I'm born ecto, so i dont know what it's like to be born an endomorph. My parents became fat even if they were lean when younger. It's all about bad habits, stress, and ignorance. Most younger people are smarter and are taught by their parents to stay lean.

The majority of trainers at chain gyms are straight up terrible. They're either texting while the client is training or having full blown conversations with the client in the middle of a set. I guess it doesn't help that the majority of the clients are middle-aged lonely, fat girls who have to pay someone to listen to their problems.

Amen to that brother...

People are fat because they eat too much period. It's not due to lack of cardio, "dirty" food, low thyroid.... it's eating too much. The end.

Though you don't even have to move more if you just eat less... it's even more simple than that.  :D

I've been saying for a while that the state should charge a fat tax and have people pay by the pound for the luxury of being overweight. Makes a lot of sense in a country with free healthcare as the fatties create a greater burden on the health service. Only thing is, how will this be fair on olympic lifters, shot putters and other athletes in strength sports that people actually care about? Of course no one gives a toss about juicers guzzling down cheeseburgers and queefing out protein farts.

No, fitness trainers are not to blame.  All the fast food, Mtn Dew, Coke, etc is to blame!  DIET DIET DIET DIET. 90% of it.  Once clients "get it" about that, they make a SHIT TON of progress and never let up... BECAUSE EATING CLEAN WORKS.  Cardio doesn't do much of anything... and EVERYONE hates cardio... not just the fat bitches.

There is no such thing as "clean" food so how can it work?

Cardio is not needed to get shredded and no one certain group is responsible for thinking it is needed.

How is interval training essential to losing fat?

The extreme cases, yes. But I think there are many fat people who could easily lose weight but fail to do so because of retarded rules made up by the "fitness industry".
