I can see where people would think that if it is two consenting adults that it should be considered a "beneficial" and "harmless" arrangement for both parties but in my opinion, it isn't.

They shouldn't be doing this to begin with, in my personal opinion, but if they are going to do this they should at least put as much money as they can toward paying off debt and save as much as they can so that they can get out of that situation as soon as possible.
