Don't be a broken record, Magikusar. Rather then simply repeating your chant, how about offering some suggestions on where government spending should be cut, including any possible fallout from these cuts. By comparing government overspending to a child with a credit card, you are definitely oversimplifying the situation. For example if it were so simple, the solution would be to simply cancel the "credit card."

Incidentally, President Obama does not have the authority to raise taxes; Congress does. Congress isn't talking about raising taxes per se. What they will be discussing is whether or not to allow tax breaks, which have been in place for some time, to lapse completely or whether to make adjustments, so that some of these tax breaks continue for an additional period of time.

Cutting government spending will fix all this.

What did you teach?
It is no suprise you are an academic.
My posts are in plain english, if you have trouble accepting the ideas, well thats because you are a communist, most likely, and government schools have miseducated you.

When you sober up, reread some the your recent posts here and then tell everyone they are written in plain English. You are like the crazy person who insists that everyone else is crazy and not them. We all see your erratic posting as utter nonsense and largely unintelligible while you suggest it is all of us who somehow do not understand plain English. Incidentally there are no such words as miseducated, thats or suprise and English is always capitalized, Mr. plain English.

Computer Science and Mathematics.

It is no suprise you are an academic.

It's not? It was a surprise to me to be teaching University-level classes!

Your posts are semi-coherent ramblings full of misspellings and plagued by bad or non-existent grammar. As a result they are tiring and difficult to read.

As for being a communist... LOL. Me? A communist?! What a joke. I'm about as far from a communist as one can possibly be. But hey, you shouldn't let facts gets in the way of invective.

As a side note: I find it extremely ironic that some here felt the need for a new rule against personal attacks (that is for calling liars liars) but those same people see no need for a rule against incoherent no-content nonsense and deleterious rhetoric that does nothing to promote civilized and rational discussion.

I reccomend a few hours on youtube watching Milton Friedman, Tom Woods, and Peter Schiff.

What Milton Friedman, Tom Woods, and Peter Schiff advocate has been proven by the history of the "Gilded Age" to be disastrous for most of the population...

Also the success of the "New Deal" in fostering a burgeoning Middle class and thus enriching America is undeniable...that is until the Reagan administration under the guise of "deregulation" began to get the "ducks in a row" for the plutocratic hegemony to engage in the engorged feeding frenzy that they enjoyed the past three decades.

What is best for most is a "Mixed Economy".

New deal and FDR were terrible for avg joe and middle class, and ramped up government intervention, destroying billions is wealth.

FDR caused the great depression nuff said.  Without his intervention depression woulda not be great, woulda been 1 year done.

Same misakes as obama.

Yet you wonder why debt skyrockets yes 30mil + unemplyed??

Only government can cause such ruin.

2008 was primary caused by government influence.  Youtube john allison he explains it very clearly.

Really? What's so magic about 50%? 37.5% wouldn't? 42.9% wouldn't? 49% wouldn't? 49.99% wouldn't?

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/11/28/Obama-top-advisors-90-percent-white-male

Even as the media complains that Republican House officials have installed males at the top of their committees, it ignores the fact that President Obama’s senior advisors are almost entirely white males. The only top advisor who is a female or minority is Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s longtime maternal figure. Other top advisors include Vice President Joe Biden, Senior Advisor David Plouffe, Chief of Staff Jack Lew, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, and Press Secretary Jay Carney.

Who cares?

Maybe the males where more qualified.

The thing where people with repub and woman is rape, choice/abortion and people like Rush calling sexual active woman for sluts.

Prime sounds like you need a drink.  I have not had one since saturday.  You sound jittery man, and a little hysterical.

I was drinking a glass of Pinot Noir when I posted that reply to you. My nature is to be calm and easygoing, can't remember the last time I got hysterical.

Perhaps I was mistaken about your being a bit loaded. It is just that I was searching for an reason as to why your posts had gone to shit again. And good for you not having a drink since Saturday. Not drinking will probably help you loose that little bit of "baby fat" you say you're trying to shed.

The ignorance of history here is amazing.
There is a system that always fails and was tried in 19th century.
Socialism

Capitalism in the brief period it was semi allow made USA no1 very quickly

It also made hong kong grow into a major economy in just 30 years which is arguable a better example, and all  hong kong had was a 15% flat tax.

I can only imagine if we had only 1 tax in USA a 15% flat tax.

WOW

the economic growth would be staggering.

No more IRS.

All this confidence you have in a mixed economy is myth.

unions hurt wages, henry ford proved them wrong again and again but thsi is ignored

FDR caused great depression by making government spending go up.

After ww2 the grwoth was due to gov spending going down 65% after war spending stopped.

This is the kind of jump we could have now if we cut government 65%!

its a pipe dream though, the IRS will never go away we will never have a flat tax.  and...........The Feds won in 1865.    :D

Guess how many women in the Republican controlled House were appointed to chair committees?

Hint- the number and the percentage are both the same figure

Bonus points if you can guess the gender and race of all committee chairmen

I at times try to sit down and observe things to understand democrats.

I can understand a few things.

There is inequality.

Some CEO makes 100million while worker get 50k, and after tax, 40k

So if you see history are a struggle for workers to simply be paid more equally, I can understand voting democrat.

I struggle with this ideologically, honestly.

If for example Obama care said ok we are going to build 5 new hospitals in each state.  The hospitals like public schools will be funded by the feds.   Private hospitals can compete all they want.
We are also going to pay to train 100 doctors for each hospital.  We will negotiate liek a giant fund for equipment etc.
I mean here I could see something good being done with the tax money.

To a certain extent I could see this with trains as well.
I am going to skip any negative ideas that pop up and move on.

Same with housing.  Government could say ok we are going find a cheap dome house design, and build say x number of them and sell them for profit.  This is in competition with whatever is already around.

I can understand the democrat view.

You are tired of CEO getting 100mil while common man is left with jack.

I am kind of emotionaly mulling this over now.

No I am not drunk.
