A little more B-Hop.  ;)

MMA H.E.A.T.'s Karyn Bryant catches up with WBC light heavyweight Champ Bernard Hopkins at the UFC 133 open workouts and gets his thoughts on the two worlds of MMA and boxing. Bernard gives his opinion on the skills MMA fighters possess, what he thinks could be tweaked a bit and what he thought of James Toney's decision to enter the octagon with Randy Couture. He also lets us know why he's been able to have such a long career in boxing and what he needs to do to defeat Chad Dawson, who is being trained by the legendary Emmanuel Steward.

I really like B-Hop.  He paid his dues and deserves to be on top.  I remember back when he used to come out with the black KKK-like getup.  I'm happy for his successs.

I hope Rashad takes Tito's head off.

thing about hopkins is , he's probly missed about a dozen workouts in his whole career, he lives like a monk and trains every day

some fighters are lazy pigs, only turn up 8 weeks before a fight and try to whip them selves into shape for the big pay day

Hopkins has always been my cash cow. Never bet against him. It's easy money. My three biggest win$ were against Trinidad, Tarver, and of course Pavlik. He deserves all of his success. He's one of the hardest working guys the sport of Boxing has ever had.

u  must have lost a packet againt calazhagie then....

Love Hopkins-- One of my favorite boxers of all time

Gutsy, tough, knows every trick in the book and one of the hardest workers the sport has ever seen. For anyone that wants to see a clinic on defense, watch Hopkins.

He's like the Randy Couture of boxing in terms of longevity (except only 10x more talented).

Good  boxing advice but  worthless for MMA , actually keep your chin down was the best advice.

The way some of this MMA guys throw punches, you can see it a mile away---and the opponent gets knocked out buy have such a low ass guard that it's pathetic...

One guy you can see his punch, the other guy gets knocked from a shitty punch, but his guard is even shittier.

That's what makes MMA  entertaining.

The way B had guarded that one punch, and he showed that Evans was opened up, you could see a potential knee to the midsection or ribs, or a hit, which forces the person to bend over, creating a opportunity for a knee to the face. He showed that you could create a myriad of diff opportunities for yourself, just by your guard and stance.

As much as I hate Rashad, I hate Tito 10x more.

I am rooting hard for Rashad in this one-- Rampage- Rashad rematch should be right around the corner.

LOL!
Hopkins is never been decent or respectuful!
He is just another overrated black american fighter who was lucky to fight in a era of total mediocrity in the middleweight division!
The proof is the fact that when he met decent boxer like Roy Jones in his prime (by the way Jones is the the most overrated boxer in history) and Calzaghe lost!
Hopkins win against Trinidad and De La Hoya (by a mistery body punch when he was behind on point against Oscar) are not relevant because both of them were welterweight blow up at middleweight!
If Hopkins was fighting in the 70' or the 80' against Monzon or Hagler he would never been champion!
This video is a proof of what kind of racist fool Hopkins is : " I never let a white boy beat me"

Well, clearly you are much more well versed in boxing than I, so ... I will say the video you present does a lot to make me eat my original words. I am not too into folks pulling out the race card when confronted. Think it all you want, but don't speak it; especially when, as he himself says (in so many words), the proof will be in the pudding.

Fuck this guy.
