When Bush was in office, I did the same thing.  I've even mentioned just 2 weeks ago about his policies in which they would have worked if the tax cuts the wealthy received were used to create jobs.  Of course, we know that instead of doing so, they pocketed the money and continued to ship jobs overseas.

Unfortunately, I don't have many good things to say about the GOP at this present time.  Its gone so far right that it basically outweighs the actual value of fiscal responsibility.  People who demand absolutes will never reach a suitable outcome.  I hate the Tea Party because they are in my opinion a group of racist anarchist trying to disguise themselves as Republicans.  They have no respect for civility or any professional tact whatsoever.

The markets have shown that the credit downgrade means nothing in terms of the borrowing ability of the US.  By markets i mean government bond/treasury markets.

The stock markets have melted down however, and has tanked during his speech even yesterday (because he said nothing, just mumbled). 

Now, every economic move, right or wrong, is only declared as such by the loudest mouth.  If the right continues to bash Obama's administration for the downgrade, it will be conceived as such by the sheep, whether right or wrong.

He cannot blame Bush anymore.  Every time he does that, he sounds more stupid.  He was literally in hiding during the downgrade as it took him 16 hours to acknowledge it.  He cancelled his press conference and the daily white house briefing today.

If Bernanke says anything shy of "i am printing 10 trillion dollars tonight to inflate the stock market", the markets will plunge again.  If he does say that, how will that fare for Obama's future?

But that's the way the stock market goes.  I'm going to be busy today setting up first ecommerce store on Facebook.  By the end of the day hopefully, everyone will be able to buy my line of products from Caliber Fitness Solutions directly off of Facebook.
