Yes, and the stock market is dropping because of Obama's speech, huh? No, you fucking moron, it is dropping because Obama in his speech is saying that he cannot pay the enormous debt created by Bush during his administration. And don't ever call me stupid. Seriously. My IQ is literally twice yours.

SUCKMYMUSCLE

No not just because of his speech, but you can bet damn near everytime he gives a speech you can expect the market to drop. "Created by the Bush administration" hahahaha.

it wasnt the bush administration. it was the bush administration, al qaeda, fiscal conservatives who favored deregulation of financial markets,  greedy lenders, irresponsible consumers.. all combined.   has not a damn thing to do with obama.

I truly believe SuckMyMuscle is that big and shredded and wealthy.  I also remember him saying that his family owns many casinos, so I am trying to not be such an asshole to him, hopefully to score a penthouse suite at one of his father's hotels/casinos.

Regardless of that drama, Coach, I was wondering if you could answer me something regarding Obama or just about any president that takes the position in Washington.

Has any US president ever just surfaced from society without any backing from huge corporations?

I was reading an article the other day that closely examined how fascist the US truly is behind the scenes.  It mentioned how all Republican & Democratic candidates for the White House are all sponsored by the huge Tobacco, Oil, pharmaceutical & even other large companies and that it is rare to find a president that can truly stand for the needs of the people before the needs of the corporations that gave them a ballot to stand on via political contributions.

It also discussed how strong of a say lobbyists have in Washington due to their overwhelming presence, constant contributions and their serving as reminders to the president of the vow "He" took to pay these corporations back via favors.

So, be it Bush or Obama or whatever candidate, how much of OUR president are any of them really?

Congress was controlled by Republicans during the Bush administration, so it's not like a minority senator can do much. And this debt crises is to blame on Republicans, obviously, since Bush got the U.S into Iraq and the Republican Party approved the spending. Aay more questions?

SUCKMYMUSCLE

You completely missed the point in your rush to pick a fight and or blame one party or the other. The POTUS changes every 4 to 8 years, but you have people in congress spending their whole life and some dying in office of old age. One party rule is a recipe for disaster, and proven by both parties. So keep on buying into the BS, neither party has any problem spending money, the only differ on what they want to spend it on.

Oh Jesus H. Christ Howard wake up.....stop with the Obama inherited BS. The truth is that Obama is responsible for the mess the U.S. is in. He can’t have it both ways. He is the POTUS and as such, he is responsible. He is responsible for both his actions and his inactions. And when it comes to the economy, he is responsible for its condition. Gawd damn excuse mongering...blame the Tea Party, blame Repubs, blame the Gulf Oil spill, blame Arab Summer, blame Bush, blame Japan and the earthquake/tsunami/meltdown, blame Greece....he sure as hell took credit for getting Bin Laden didn't he?

This is the most inept leader of any country ever.....S&P dowgraded Obama, not the U.S. economic machine.

Obama is the president now and if he wants to go down in history as a great president, he must now lead during this time of financial crisis .
He must inspire the American people first with a bold vision just like Reagan did, as well as FDR in his time.
THEN, he can go to congress with the people behind him and get something done.
I think Pres. Obama has the ability to do it and he will judged by the waters in 2012 on how he does it.

It's funny how the Democrats never seemed to realize that the republicans threw the last election by nominating McCain and then Palin!

And that the republicans will throw the election in 2012 and let Obama have it again.

It is actually a historic victory for the republicans to let the Democrats lead during this 8 year period of austerity and let all it's effects and unpopularity fall on their records.

Congratulations to Obama and the Democrats on winning the 2012 election!

IDIOTS! hahahaha  ;D
This kind of blue team vs red team nonsense won't help our nation's economy rebound.

Sure it STARTED there , but it is now up to Obama to lead and get us back on track.
President Lincoln had a damn tough job keeping things together from 1861-1865 , but he did it!

Like every great leader he had some extreme wackos that hated him and they took his life.
Being a great leader is tough and takes courage. We shall now see if Obama has what it takes.
For the sake of my country, I hope he is more Lincoln then Buchanan. Time will tell.

It has been a steady erosion with the financial regulations since the mid 90's, no question.
Like  the rest of us poor working slobs , I just do my best to stay informed and vote for the best people I can.

Even if I had the perfect answer ( I don't :'( ), to solve the economic crisis, NOBODY in power is going to listen to me .
That is why I hope those currently in power will surprise us, but.... ::)

Grab your wallet.   When a republican  speaks - things always get drastically worse.

The tea party is a plague on this nation.

People don't want to believe it...that the Prez is just a figurehead...all politicians are whores, the pimps are the corps, and lobbyists.

the American people believe the spoonfed lies, they gobble it up like the gossip that they hear on the tv talk shows.
the Political shows are not like the Sunday morning "Meet The Press", they make it all "sexy"...and rile people up---all of this is done to keep the AMerican public from focusing on the truth, that they have been "had".

Kinda true. But this crazy game is the only one in town. I vote and simply go to work and just do my best.
Even if I had all the answers, nobody in power is going to listen to me, so wtf?!  FYI, obviously I don't, but you see my pt.
