Does anyone ever worry about the shit they post coming back to haunt them?

I think it would be especially dangerous if you were to run for office (as teams of people would be looking for dirt on you), but it could even affect less high-profile lines of work as well.

I was reading an article the other day that said many employers now want you to disclose your FB and Twitter accounts.

FB I can see, because it has your real name on there and truly is 'public' to an extent.

I don't get the Twitter thing, because that (for me, anyway) is anonymous.

Damn, if someone found out about some of these GB accounts, many of you would not just be unemployable, but would be in prison (especially from the steroid board).

Sorry if this is a repost, but I think it's an interesting topic.

My boss is one of my facebook friends and I wouldn't post anything incriminating on there anyway even if they weren't. Even on Getbig I'm a bit boring and so I don't think there's really much here I'd get done for.

As far as FB, I hardly go on it, but what people write on there is appalling, also all these women with their porn pics and sextapes...they don't give a damn...so what happens when they are in their 20s or 30s and are looking for jobs? And that Porno shit pops up? Will it be, "everybody has a sextape and has taken pics, it's no big deal?"
Twitter---too many people are getting into trouble now---like Weiner, for what they say and the twitpics...

What is happening is people are getting too comfortable and haven't felt the consequences yet.

 Bu I was talking about the other sites, where often you see women's facial shots or vids


Speaking on FB, I know one woman who is always talking about "getting drunk"...
Imagine if she gets a DUI, and how that can play out. That happened on the Bay Bridge in MD. Chick was talking about getting drunk on Myspace, and she then causes a fatal accident on the Bay Bridge.
