Jail guard admits to peddling steroids

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former jail guard has admitted to distributing anabolic steroids amongst prisoners.
While working as a detention officer at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia, 39-year-old Richard Lazzaro of Cheektowaga obtained and distributed steroids among detainees. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison when he is sentenced.
