One of the most amazing movies I have seen and I have since watched it probably a hundret times more than the Big Lebowski

Amazing sountrack as well - Hans Zimmer is a god amongst sountrack composers.

It was a great movie.

What should be stressed is that, in my opinion, Morgan Freeman completely carried that movie.  He was to that movie what Tom Hanks was to Cast Away.  Freeman's narration kept you in suspense and had the uncanny ability to simultaneously soothe you during the right moments.

goodfellas better IMO. shawshank was great they showed it all day long on amc a few weeks back I imagine thats why this thread was posted. It would be nice if you could get fake documents that easy these days. back then driver licenses didnt even have your picture on it. I think he should have stole more money then 350K after 20 years. I think the black guy had a crush on andy and followed him to mexico be fuck buddys plus he wanted a cut of the money andy stole. Im kidding about the gay part. good flick morgan freeman was the bomb in that movie so was tim robbins. he was also good in mystic river
Top 5 movies on my list

1. scarface
2. godfather
3.godfather 2
4.goodfellas
5. 40 year old virgin(love the cast)

I disagree to some extent. Tim Robbins had to hold his own as well. If you knew about the first library scene where he meets Brooks and gets "trained" by him, it might give you a little more insight. In that scene, they were able to train the crow to fly but couldn't get him to stop squawking. So Tim Robbins had to time his lines perfectly in order to be heard and deliver the proper set-up.
Also, read the Wiki link to the movie....quite interesting; I think the movie wasn't picked up as nobody ever thought the movie would amount to anything.
