Tetracycline
« on: August 10, 2011, 06:33:40 AM »
1. Has anyone had success using tetracycline to combat AAS related acne?

2. Will using tetracycline in combination with GH reduce the efficacy of the GH?

3. What is an effective dosing protocol for tetracycline?

Thanks in advance for everyone's input

I have read some bad stuff about this product.

"In 2010, the FDA added tetracycline to its Adverse Event Reporting System (AERS).[10] The AERS contains a list of medications under investigation by the FDA for potential safety issues. The list is published quarterly and available online. The AERS cites a potential link between the use of tetracycline products and Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis and erythema multiforme.[10]"

I have used Benedryl for years to get rid of AAS induced acne. Take 1 tab every night before bed for a few weeks and see if it works for you. I would say about 90% of the people i have told to use benedryl to combat acne came back to me with great results. There is a little science behind why this works but i don't have time to explain it all right now.

Any specific type? I'm envisioning an entire aisle in CVS dedicated to Benadryl

Thank you for your reply

Just look for the active ingredient "diphenhydramine".  It will make you tired, so before bed is a great time to take it.

And by the way, store brand diphenhydramine is a LOT less expensive than big pharma brands.
